Agencies may also seek opportunities to have a staff person trained as First Aid Instructors; agencies
who choose to use a trained staff person will need to verify that the training gives the staff person
the ability to certify others in first aid. See https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class/first-aid for
options. Certification from other in-person training organizations may also be acceptable if they
meet American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines and provide a certification card.
