Guidance for Special Marriage Licence application form
Use this form:
Visitors who choose the Cayman Islands for their destination wedding must apply for a Special Marriage Licence.
Submission requirements:
In submitting this form you should enclose the following (where appropriate):
Passports
Proof of your embarkation/disembarkation card (both bride and groom)
The fee of CI $200.00 or US $250.00
If you have been married previously, proof of your current marital status (both bride and groom)
All applications must be submitted in person to:

Please note District Administration in Cayman Brac handles applications for Special Marriage Licences for couples
who wish to have the ceremony performed in Cayman Brac or Little Cayman.
What happens next?
Completed applications are processed by our office. Once the licence has been collected by the individual or
agent responsible the ceremony may then be conducted by a registered marriage officer in and for the Cayman
Islands.
